Hebei Engineering and Technology College is located in the coastal open city of Cangzhou, and is a comprehensive engineering college directly under the Education Department of Hebei Province. The predecessor of the school was the Hebei Water Conservancy and Civil Engineering School established by the Hebei Provincial Department of Water Resources in Tianjin in 1952, which was the earliest water conservancy school established in North China at that time. In 1955, it was renamed as "Tianjin Water Conservancy School in Hebei Province". In 1958, it moved to Baoding City and was upgraded to a higher education institution, named "Hebei Institute of Water Resources and Electric Power". In 1960, it was renamed "Hebei Institute of Water Resources". In 1966, it moved to Gangnan Reservoir in Pingshan County, Shijiazhuang and was renamed as "Hebei Water Conservancy Engineering College". In 1970, with the approval of Hebei Province, the school was relocated to Cangzhou City and named "Hebei Water Conservancy College". In 1992, with the approval of the former National Education Commission, it was renamed as "Hebei Engineering and Technology College".

Hebei Normal University is a provincial-level key university with a century old history and glorious tradition. The school originated from Shuntianfu School, founded in Beijing in 1902, and Beiyang Women's Normal School, founded in Tianjin in 1906. In June 1996, the former Hebei Normal University and Hebei Normal College merged with the Hebei Education College founded in 1952 and the Hebei Vocational and Technical Normal College founded in 1984 to form the new Hebei Normal University. It is one of the earliest and currently larger higher normal colleges established in China. Among the alumni are the older generation revolutionaries Deng Yingchao, Liu Qingyang, Guo Longzhen, Yang Xiufeng, Kang Shien, Rong Gaotang, etc., academic celebrities Liang Shuming, Zhang Shenfu, Tang Yongtong, etc., academicians Yan Luguang, Hao Bolin, etc., as well as a group of sports elites such as Xu Shaofa and Cai Zhenhua. Since the establishment of the People's Republic of China, the school has trained more than 180000 professional talents for the country.

Yanshan University originated from Harbin Institute of Technology and was founded in 1920. In 1958, the Heavy Machinery Department and related majors of Harbin Institute of Technology were relocated to the industrial town of Fularji District, Qiqihar City, and the Heavy Machinery College of Harbin Institute of Technology was established. In 1960, it was independently established and named Northeast Heavy Machinery College. In 1978, it was designated as a national key higher education institution. From 1985 to 1997, the school moved south to Qinhuangdao City as a whole. In January 1997, with the approval of the former National Education Commission, it was renamed Yanshan University. In 1998, it was transferred from the former Ministry of Machinery Industry to Hebei Province and implemented joint construction between the central and local governments, with Hebei Province as the main management.

Hebei University is the only key comprehensive university in Hebei Province, which is jointly built by the People's Government of Hebei Province and the Ministry of Education. The predecessor of the school was Tianjin Business University founded by French Jesuits in Tianjin in 1921. Later, the name of the school changed several times, and it went through various periods such as Tianjin Business College, Jingu University, Tianjin Normal University, and Tianjin Normal University. In 1960, it was transformed into a comprehensive university and named Hebei University. In 1970, it moved from Tianjin to the national historical and cultural city of Baoding, Hebei. In 2005, Hebei Provincial Staff Medical College and its affiliated hospitals were merged into Hebei University.

Shandong Shengli Vocational College was established in June 2003, with its predecessor being Shengli Petroleum School, which was established in 1973. The college is under the jurisdiction of the Shengli Petroleum Management Bureau, and implements a dual leadership system led by the Shandong Provincial Department of Education and the Shengli Petroleum Management Bureau, with the Shengli Petroleum Management Bureau as the main body. The college covers an area of 744.8 acres, with a building area of 207000 square meters, fixed assets of 177 million yuan, and a library collection of 739000 books.

Mount Taishan Vocational and Technical College is a full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province, recorded by the Ministry of Education and hosted by the People's Government of Tai'an City. The college is located at the foot of Mount Taishan Mountain, Tianzhu Peak Scenic Area, the world natural and cultural heritage, and the first of the five mountains. It is located at the intersection of Huanshan Road and Taiming Road, close to the mountain and the city, with convenient transportation. The campus is designed in a garden style layout, with a well arranged architectural complex, elegant environment, and beautiful scenery.

Yantai Engineering Vocational and Technical College is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college founded on the basis of Yantai Technical College and sponsored by the Yantai Municipal People's Government. The college is located in the beautiful and prosperous coastal open city of Yantai, Shandong. The predecessor of the college was founded in 1957. Since nearly half a century ago, it has cultivated tens of thousands of high-quality skilled talents for the society, and has been awarded the honorary titles of "National exemplary organization of Vocational Education", "National High skilled Talents Training Base", "National Key Technical School", "exemplary organization of Revitalizing Shandong through Science and Education", etc.

Shandong Vocational College of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, formerly known as Shandong Animal Husbandry and Veterinary School, was founded in Tai'an in 1955 and moved to Weifang in 1960. In April 2002, with the approval of the People's Government of Shandong Province, it was independently promoted to Shandong Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Vocational College, a full-time public ordinary higher education institution at the specialized level. It is the only animal husbandry and veterinary higher vocational college in Shandong Province with a single subject. Directly under the management of Shandong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Provincial Department of Education.

The Jinan Campus of Shandong Medical College is located at the northern foot of Wanling Mountain in the southern suburbs of Jinan, a scenic spring city. It covers an area of 1061 acres, with a construction area of 160000 square meters and fixed assets of 230 million yuan; There are currently 476 faculty members, over 100 doctoral and master's degrees, 127 senior professional and technical personnel, 10 foreign guest professors, and 3 foreign teachers; More than 8000 students on campus; We currently have 20 specialized directions and 43 specialized laboratories; The teaching facilities are fully equipped; The library has a collection of 260000 books; There are 41 teaching internship bases, all of which are provincial-level and municipal medical and health units with superior conditions.

Shandong Technician College is directly under the Shandong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, founded in 1980. It is a full-time higher vocational college that mainly trains highly skilled talents such as technicians and senior technicians who are in short supply in society.

Qingdao Harbor Vocational and Technical College is located in this picturesque coastal city of Qingdao. It is a state-owned public full-time vocational college with distinctive port and shipping characteristics. Its predecessor was Qingdao Harbor School, a national key vocational school under the Ministry of Transport. It was founded in 1975 and is currently managed by the Shandong Provincial Department of Education and hosted by Qingdao Harbor (Group) Co., Ltd. The college adheres to the school motto of "loving the party, serving the country, seeking truth, and striving for progress", adheres to the educational philosophy of "establishing oneself with morality, establishing a career with technology", and the educational purpose of "based on port and shipping, serving society". Relying on the international port of Qingdao, which is a billion ton port, the college has vigorously strengthened its educational strength and achieved leapfrog development.

Jinan Railway Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1951, and was upgraded to Jinan Railway College from 1958 to 1963. In 1980, it was announced as one of the first batch of national key vocational schools. In 2000, the People's Government of Shandong Province approved the renovation of Jinan Railway Machinery School into Jinan Railway Vocational and Technical College. In November 2004, the college was changed from being under the direct management of the Ministry of Railways to the Education Department of Shandong Province. It has trained more than 40000 technical talents with both moral integrity and talent for both the railway and Shandong Province. The college campus covers an area of 825 acres, with a building area of 255000 square meters. It has six departments of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, information engineering, civil engineering, biological engineering and management, with 8701 students on campus.
