Located in Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Ningxia University is a comprehensive university jointly built by the People's Government of the Autonomous Region and the Ministry of Education and a key university under the national "211 Project". The school was founded in 1958 and merged with Ningxia University of Technology and Yinchuan Teachers' College (including Ningxia Education College) in December 1997; In February 2002, it merged with Ningxia Agricultural College to form the new Ningxia University.

Xi'an Vocational and Technical College is a full-time ordinary university approved by the People's Government of Shaanxi Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. It was established by the former Xi'an Industrial School, Xi'an Economic and Trade School, Xi'an Financial Accounting School, and Xi'an Agricultural School. The college began its preparation in May 2004, was officially established with the approval of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government on September 8, 2004, and was officially established on December 26, 2006. The college is under the supervision of the People's Government of Xi'an City, and its educational business is managed and guided by the Education Department of Shaanxi Province. The college has a 50 year history of education and has trained tens of thousands of management and skilled composite talents for the country. It has a wide influence and good reputation in society.

Shaanxi Industrial Vocational and Technical College is located in the historical and cultural city of Xianyang. Its predecessor was the former national key vocational school - Xianyang Machine Manufacturing School, which was founded in 1950. It is one of the earliest vocational colleges established in New China. In 1999, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was restructured and upgraded to the first full-time ordinary university in the northwest region to implement higher vocational and technical education, under the management of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education. Since its establishment 59 years ago, the college has sent over 60000 graduates from high and secondary vocational schools to society.

Shaanxi Jiaotong Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1952, formerly known as the National Key Technical Secondary School of Shaanxi Jiaotong. In 2001, with the approval of the Provincial People's Government, it was promoted to the higher education series and is under the jurisdiction of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Transportation. It is the only higher vocational and technical college in Shaanxi Province that trains highway transportation technology and management talents. Since its establishment, the school has trained more than 30000 transportation construction and management talents for society.

Shengzai Xi'an, the ancient city of Chang'an, formerly known as Kyoto, now the capital of humanities, technology, and education, is world-renowned. The magnificent Xi'an boasts abundant resources, outstanding talents, and profound cultural heritage. It has nurtured a brand new full-time public higher education institution directly under the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education - Shaanxi Vocational and Technical College, which has cultivated the spirit of "hard work and pursuit of excellence" among the people of Shaanxi Vocational College.

Xianyang Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public higher vocational and technical college approved by the People's Government of Shaanxi Province and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. The college was established in September 2004 and was listed in September 2005, directly under the leadership of the Xianyang Municipal People's Government. Mainly cultivate high-level skilled, applied, and service-oriented talents in production, construction, management, and service frontlines, and carry out various vocational training and continuing education.

Yan'an University is located in the revolutionary holy land of Yan'an. It is the first comprehensive university named by Comrade Mao Zedong and founded by the CPC. In 1941, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to merge Shaanbei Public School, China Women's University, and Zedong Youth Cadre School to establish Yan'an University, with Wu Yuzhang as the president. From 1943 to 1944, the Yan'an Lu Xun Academy of Arts and Literature, the Academy of Natural Sciences, the College of Nationalities, the New Character Cadre School, and the School of Administration were successively merged, with a history that can be traced back to 1937. During the difficult years of war, Yan'an University worked hard to implement the policy of applying what was learned, cultivated a large number of outstanding professional talents, and made important contributions to the victory of the Anti Japanese War and the Liberation War, as well as the prosperity and strength of New China. It has an important historical and special political position in the history of Chinese higher education.

Xi'an Science and Technology Business Vocational College is a "management oriented, liberal arts and science compatible" higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Shaanxi Province, registered by the Ministry of Education of China, and qualified to independently issue national higher education diplomas. Over the years, our college has seized the entry point of regional economic development and naturally formed three major professional course groups: economic management, rail transit management, and electronic technology. Adhering to the educational philosophy of "putting people first and establishing a school with quality", adhering to the service as the purpose and employment as the guidance, implementing higher vocational education, and providing high-quality and skilled specialized talents with comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, and aesthetics for production, construction, management, and service frontline needs.

Xi'an Aviation Technology College was founded in 1956, formerly known as Xi'an Aviation Industry School. In 1985, with the approval of the former National Education Commission, it was upgraded to a vocational college and is a regular higher education institution with higher education qualifications approved by the Ministry of Education. The school is responsible for cultivating advanced applied technical talents for the aviation industry and local economic construction. The school adheres to the purpose of serving the industry and society, and adheres to employment orientation. Graduates are highly welcomed by aviation enterprises, institutions, and social employers, and the one-time employment rate of graduates has always been above 90% for a long time.

Xi'an University of Science and Technology is a jointly built university between the central and local governments, offering nationwide enrollment. Its predecessor was Shaanxi Institute of Machinery, formed by the merger of Beijing Institute of Machinery and Shaanxi University of Technology in 1972. In January 1994, it was renamed Xi'an University of Technology with the approval of the former National Education Commission. The school currently has three campuses in Jinhua, Qujiang, and Lianhu, as well as one science and technology park, covering a total area of over 1900 acres and a building area of nearly 700000 square meters.

Shaanxi Vocational and Technical College of Finance and Economics was founded in April 1960. Its predecessor was Shaanxi Finance School, which was renamed as Shaanxi Statistical Finance School, Shaanxi Financial Accounting School, Shaanxi Statistical Finance School, Shaanxi Finance School, etc. It was moved from Xi'an to Xianyang in 1986. Since 1997, we have jointly established vocational colleges with Shaanxi University of Economics and Trade and Northwest University. In September 2001, with the approval of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and filing with the Ministry of Education, the school was independently restructured into a higher vocational and technical college, administratively under the leadership of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Finance, and professionally guided by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education. Since its establishment, the school has trained over 20000 highly skilled financial and economic professionals for local economic construction and social development in Shaanxi.

Xi'an Foreign Studies University was founded in 1952 and is one of the four earliest foreign language colleges established in New China. It is the only ordinary university in the northwest region with a complete range of major foreign language languages. Its predecessor was the Northwest Russian Language College, which was formed by the merger of the Russian Department of Northwest University, the Russian Department of Lanzhou University, and the Russian Language Class of the Party School of the Northwest Bureau of the Communist Party of China. It enrolled undergraduate students majoring in Russian and was renamed Xi'an Foreign Languages College in 1958. Starting from 1979, we began recruiting graduate students. In 1986, with the approval of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, we officially became an authorized unit for master's degrees. In February 2006, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was renamed Xi'an Foreign Studies University. After more than 50 years of construction and development, the university has realized the transformation from a single subject foreign language university to a multi discipline foreign language university that highlights foreign language characteristics, takes humanities as the main subject, and coordinated the development of social sciences, management disciplines and science disciplines. It is an important foreign language talent training base in the western part of the country, and plays an irreplaceable role in foreign language education, teaching and research in the northwest region.
