Welcome to Qinghai University for Nationalities
Qinghai University for Nationalities was founded in December 1949 and is one of the earliest universities in Qinghai and one of the earliest ethnic universities in China. It is also one of the first universities in China to have the right to confer master's degrees. Over the past 60 years since its establishment, the school has been continuously running and has gone through several stages, including the construction period, reform and development period, and leapfrog period. It has made important contributions to the construction of political power, democratic reform, economic development, and social and cultural progress in Qinghai. In January 2001, the Qinghai Provincial Party Committee and Government decided to substantially integrate Qinghai Normal College into the school.
