Welcome to Beijing Forestry University
Beijing Forestry University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the National Forestry Administration. The school's educational history can be traced back to the Agricultural Science and Forestry Program of Beijing University in 1902. In 1952, the national university departments were adjusted, and the Forestry Department of Beijing Agricultural University merged with the Forestry Department of Hebei Agricultural University to establish Beijing Forestry College. In 1956, the Department of Landscape Architecture at Beijing Agricultural University and the Department of Architecture at Tsinghua University were partially merged into our school. It was established in April 1950 by the merger of the National Beiping Art College and the three art departments of North China University. Mao Zedong named the college.
