Shanxi University of Finance and Economics is a multidisciplinary university of finance and economics, with economics and management as its distinctive and advantageous disciplines, and economics, management, and law as its main disciplines. Economics, management, law, humanities, science, engineering, and education are mutually supportive. The school was founded in 1951 and was formerly known as five cadre schools in Shanxi Province, including Bank, Finance, Supply and Marketing Cooperation, Commerce, and Grain. In September 1958, five cadre schools merged to establish Shanxi University of Finance and Economics, which was once under the leadership of Shanxi Province, the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Ministry of Domestic Trade. In December 1984, Shanxi University of Economics and Management was established under the leadership of Shanxi Province. In October 1997, Shanxi University of Finance and Economics and Shanxi University of Economics and Management merged to form Shanxi University of Finance and Economics, implementing joint construction and management between provinces and departments. In February 2000, a system of co construction between the central and local governments, with local management as the main focus, was implemented.

Shanxi Medical University was founded in 1919, formerly known as Shanxi Medical College. During the turbulent years of old China, schools underwent multiple renaming and relocation. In January 1932, it was renamed as a private Shanxi Chuanzhi Medical College. In March 1940, it was renamed as the Medical Specialized Department of Shanxi University. In August 1946, he was upgraded to the School of Medicine of National Shanxi University. After the establishment of the People's Republic of China, schools have entered a new period of development. In September 1953, the school was established independently and renamed Shanxi Medical College. In 1955, when the departments of higher education institutions nationwide were adjusted, the health departments of four medical schools in Shanxi, Jiangsu, Shandong, and Zhejiang merged to form the Health Department of Shanxi Medical College, becoming one of the six higher medical colleges in China that retained the Health Department. Shao Xiangyi, a renowned national health expert, national first-class professor, and former president of Jiangsu Medical College, served as the dean. In April 1996, it was renamed Shanxi Medical University.

Chifeng College is a multidisciplinary undergraduate regular higher education institution approved by the Ministry of Education of China in 2003. The college is located in Chifeng City, the famous birthplace of "Hongshan Culture", and is the only full-time regular undergraduate higher education institution in the Chifeng region. Chifeng City has a profound cultural heritage and abundant tourism resources. It was the political, economic, and military center of the Liao Dynasty, with unique regional advantages and abundant cultural resources. It is renowned both domestically and internationally as a "National Excellent Tourism City" and "World Geopark".

Hulunbuir College is located in Hailar District, Hulunbuir City, and is a full-time comprehensive undergraduate institution. The college currently has 22 colleges and 1 affiliated high school. Since its establishment, the school has trained over 50000 professionals of all levels and types for society.

Inner Mongolia Agricultural University is a key university in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and a key university supported by the National Western Development. Its campus is located in the historical and cultural city of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and is known as the "garden style higher education institution" outside the Great Wall.

Baotou Normal University is an ordinary higher normal university approved by the Ministry of Education on March 21, 2000, formed by the merger of the former Baotou Normal College, Baotou Education College, and Baotou Normal School.

Inner Mongolia Medical College is located in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is a comprehensive higher medical institution that focuses on medicine and integrates science, engineering, management, and literature. The school was established in 1956 and was one of the earliest higher medical colleges established in ethnic minority areas by the People's Republic of China. At that time, it was under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health and was under the management of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 1958.

Inner Mongolia University of Technology is located in the northern border of China - Hohhot City, the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Its predecessor was the Suiyuan Provincial Senior Industrial School, which was founded in 1951. It was the first school established in Suiyuan Province after the founding of the People's Republic of China to cultivate specialized talents, and Yang Zhilin, the President of Suiyuan Provincial Government, also served as the President. In 1958, Inner Mongolia Institute of Technology was established with the support of Tsinghua University. It was previously under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Machinery Industry and the Ministry of Agricultural Machinery. It was transferred to Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 1983 and renamed Inner Mongolia University of Technology in 1993. The school currently operates on four campuses, namely the main campus, Jinchuan campus, Mining College, and Engineering Technology Specialized College, covering an area of 3235 acres.

Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics

Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology is located in Baotou, one of the first batch of civilized cities and beautiful grassland steel cities in China. It was founded in 1956 and was originally known as Baotou Iron and Steel Industrial School and Baotou Construction Engineering School. In 1958, the two schools merged to form Baotou Institute of Technology. In 1960, it was renamed Baotou Iron and Steel College, under the former Ministry of Metallurgical Industry. In 1998, it was under the management of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and became a higher education institution jointly built by the central and local governments. In 2000, the Inner Mongolia coal industry School was incorporated and renamed as Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology in 2003.

Ningxia Judicial Police Officer Vocational College is a full-time vocational college approved by the Ministry of Justice and the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and registered by the Ministry of Education. The college is located in the Xueyuan East Road College Park, Xixia District, Yinchuan City, covering an area of 346 acres. It has convenient transportation, beautiful environment, and complete teaching and living facilities. In addition to conducting full-time education, the college also has four brands: China University of Political Science and Law Ningxia Correspondence Teaching Station, China National Lawyer Correspondence Teaching Center Ningxia Counseling Station, Ningxia Judge Training College, and Ningxia Judicial Cadre Training Center. It has also established a Shandong campus in Dongying, Shandong. The college is a national pilot unit for the reform of the recruitment and training system of political and legal colleges determined by 11 departments including the Central Political and Legal Commission. It is one of the first batch of key construction demonstration vocational colleges in the autonomous region determined by the Ningxia Education Department, and is also a training base for cadres in the judicial administration system of Ningxia.

Xinhua College of Ningxia University was established in March 2002 and is one of the first independent colleges confirmed by the Ministry of Education. It is a full-time undergraduate regular higher education institution organized by Ningxia University in accordance with the new system and model. In December 2007, the Education Department of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Ningxia University jointly established Xinhua College.
