Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology
Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology was formed in 1956 by the merger of the civil and architectural departments (departments) of the former Northeast Institute of Technology, Northwest Institute of Technology, Qingdao Institute of Technology, and Sunan Industrial College during the third national departmental adjustment, and was then named Xi'an Institute of Architecture and Engineering. Xi'an Petroleum University was founded in 1951 and is the first specialized school in training petroleum and petrochemical technical cadres in New China. It is the only multi-disciplinary ordinary higher education institution with petroleum and petrochemical characteristics in the northwest region. The school headquarters is located in the Electronic Industrial Park of Xi'an High tech Industrial Development Zone, and the new campus is located in Xi'an Fengjing Industrial Park, Huxian County, Xi'an City. The school covers an area of 2207.15 acres, with a total fixed asset value of 1.278 billion yuan and a total teaching equipment value of 226 million yuan.

ShaanXi University Of Chinese Medicine
The predecessor of Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was the Northwest Traditional Chinese Medicine Continuing Education School established in Xi'an in 1952. It was upgraded to Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1959 and relocated to the ancient capital of Xianyang in 1961. It is the only ordinary higher education institution in Shaanxi to cultivate advanced traditional Chinese medicine talents. It is one of the eight key construction traditional Chinese medicine universities in China determined by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in 1978, and was approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council as one of the first batch of higher medical colleges with the right to grant master's degrees in 1981.

The Fourth Military Medical University of the People's Liberation Army of China is a national key university that trains high-level and middle-level medical professionals for the military. The school was formed in 1954 by the merger of the former Fourth Military Medical University and the former Fifth Military Medical University. The school was designated as one of the first batch of key universities in China in 1959, entered the ranks of key military construction universities in 1995, and became one of the first batch of key construction universities in the "211 Project" of the country in 1997. Xi'an Jiaotong University is a key university directly under the Ministry of Education of China. Its predecessor was Nanyang Public School founded in Shanghai in 1896, renamed as Jiaotong University in 1921. In 1956, the State Council decided to relocate Jiaotong University to Xi'an, and in 1959, it was named Xi'an Jiaotong University and listed as a national key university. Xi'an Jiaotong University is one of the first seven universities to enter the national "211 Project" construction. In 1999, it was designated by the state as a school with the goal of building a world-renowned high-level university. In April 2000, the State Council decided to merge Xi'an Medical University, which had a history of over 60 years under the Ministry of Health, and Shaanxi University of Finance and Economics, which had a history of over 40 years under the People's Bank of China, into Xi'an Jiaotong University.
