Nantong Agricultural Vocational and Technical College
Nantong Agricultural Vocational and Technical College, formerly known as the National Advanced Agricultural Vocational School, was founded in Chongqing in 1945 and relocated to Nantong in 1946. After liberation, it was renamed as Nantong Agricultural School in Jiangsu Province. In 2003, with the approval of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, it was upgraded to Nantong Agricultural Vocational and Technical College. Over the past 60 years since its establishment, as the successor to the agricultural vocational education in Nantong initiated by Mr. Zhang Jian, our college has always adhered to and practiced Mr. Zhang Jian's agricultural vocational education ideas, undertaken the important task of cultivating talents for local economic development and the construction of socialist big agriculture and new socialist countryside.
