  • Longdong University

    The predecessor of Longdong College was Qingyang Normal College, established with the approval of the State Council in December 1978. In July 1992, the National Education Commission renamed the school Qingyang Normal College. In April 2003, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of a multidisciplinary undergraduate college, Longdong College, on the basis of Qingyang Normal College. In May 2007, the school passed the first undergraduate education quality assessment and acceptance organized by the Gansu Provincial Department of Education, and the evaluation of bachelor's degree authorization units organized by the Gansu Provincial Academic Degrees Committee, obtaining the right to grant bachelor's degrees. Since its establishment 31 years ago, the school has been awarded the honorary titles of "Top 400 National Department Greening Units" and "National Greening Model Units". 20 social practice activities for college students have been commended and rewarded by the Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Education, and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League.   • Welcome to Lanzhou Petrochemical Vocational and Technical College

    Lanzhou Petrochemical Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1956. Its predecessor was two national key vocational schools directly under the Ministry of Petroleum and the Ministry of Chemical Industry (Lanzhou Petroleum School and Lanzhou Chemical School), as well as two employee universities (Lanzhou Refining and Chemical University and Lanzhou Chemical Industry Company) of the former Lanzhou Refining and Chemical General Factory and Lanzhou Chemical Industry Company. In 1999, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was restructured as Lanzhou Petrochemical Vocational and Technical College, becoming the first independent higher vocational and technical college in Gansu Province. In 2000, the college was transferred from Sinopec Group to Gansu Province for management. In December 2002, the college was designated by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance as a national key demonstration higher vocational and technical college. In 2004, the college was designated by the Ministry of Education as two national scarce skilled talent training bases, namely the CNC Technology Application Major and the Computer Application and Software Technology Major. In September 2005, the college passed the talent cultivation level evaluation organized by the Provincial Department of Education, becoming the first outstanding vocational college in Gansu Province. At the same time, it also successfully passed the ISO9001:2000 international quality management system certification. In 2006, the college was designated by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance as one of the first batch of demonstration higher vocational colleges under national key construction.

    Hexi University is located in Zhangye City in the central part of the Hexi Corridor, and is the only multidisciplinary undergraduate institution in western Gansu and Qianli Hexi Corridor that focuses on teacher education. The school's predecessor was Zhangye Normal College, which was founded in 1958. It was restored and established with the approval of the State Council in 1978, and in May 2001, it was renamed as Hexi College with the approval of the Ministry of Education. Our school has two brands, both of which are the Hexi Branch of Gansu Academy of Social Sciences. The school has a direct service area of 260000 square kilometers, accounting for 54% of the total area of Gansu Province. It is responsible for the cultivation of basic education teachers and applied talents in the Hexi region. At present, the campus covers an area of 1002 acres, with a building area of 260000 square meters, and the library has a collection of 720000 books. There are 32 undergraduate majors such as Chinese Language and Literature Education, 30 vocational (vocational) majors (which have been basically closed in recent years), 18 teaching departments (at the level of secondary colleges), 1 secondary college (as a continuing education college), 7 research institutes, and a 1700 acre experimental internship farm.     Lanzhou Business School, formerly known as Gansu Provincial College of Finance and Economics established in 1958, was officially established in July 1981 with the approval of the State Council. It is the only higher education institution in finance and economics in Gansu, Qinghai, and Ningxia provinces (regions) that focuses on undergraduate education.

    The predecessor of Gansu Agricultural University was the National Veterinary College founded in Lanzhou in October 1946. It was the only veterinary university in China at that time. In 1950, the school was renamed Northwest Veterinary College; In 1951, it was renamed Northwest Animal Husbandry and Veterinary College.
