Site Description: Xingtai College, formerly known as the Fourth Junior Normal School of Zhili, was founded in 1910 (the second year of Xuantong) and is one of the four normal schools established at that time. Currently, it is the only university in Hebei Province that has been continuously built, inherited, and developed on its original site through a single lineage transmission. After the establishment of the Republic of China in 1912, it was renamed Zhili Fourth Junior Normal School, formerly known as Hebei Province Fourth Normal School, Xingtai Normal School, etc. It was upgraded to Xingtai Normal College in 1984. In March 1996, it merged with the original Xingtai Education College and Xingtai Economic Management Cadre School to establish Xingtai Normal College. In 2002, it was upgraded to a undergraduate institution with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
