Site Description: Longyan College is a public full-time undergraduate university established in Fujian Province with the approval of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. The school is located in the central city of Longyan in western Fujian Province, with convenient transportation and beautiful environment. The school has a long history of education, formerly known as Longyan Normal College, founded in 1958. In 2001, the former Fujian Resources Industrial School was merged into Longyan Normal College. In May 2004, the Ministry of Education officially approved the upgrade and renaming to Longyan College, making it the only full-time undergraduate university in western Fujian.
