Xi'an Peihua College is located in the birthplace of Chinese civilization and the picturesque ancient capital of the Thirteen Dynasties - Xi'an. The school is the first private undergraduate regular higher education institution approved by the Ministry of Education in the twelve western provinces and cities, and also the first private university in the western region to have the right to confer bachelor's degrees. Its predecessor was Xi'an First Civilian Women's Vocational School, established in 1928 with the approval of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education and organized by the Shaanxi Women's Vocational Education Promotion Association.

The predecessor of Xi'an Electric Power College was Xi'an Electric Power School, founded in 1953. In March 1994, it was upgraded to Xi'an Electric Power Higher Vocational College, under the jurisdiction of State Grid Corporation of China. Xi'an Electric Power College is the only ordinary electric power university in the Northwest Power Grid and Shaanxi Power Grid, with multi-level, multi specification, and multi type educational characteristics. For over fifty years, the school has adhered to the educational philosophy of "valuing moral education, being meticulous and practical, integrating industry with education, and serving the power industry", and has cultivated tens of thousands of high-quality skilled professionals and management cadres for the national power industry, earning the reputation of "Huangpu of Northwest Electric Power". In April 1999, Xi'an Electric Power College merged with Northwest Electric Power Workers' University to establish the Northwest Electric Power Workers' Training Center, achieving the sharing of educational resources.

The college coordinates the development of multiple disciplines, providing students with 4-year undergraduate education and 3-year higher vocational education. Xijing University is located in the ancient capital of Xi'an, which has a rich cultural heritage. Founded in May 1994, it is a regular undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. At present, the college covers an area of over 1390 acres, with a building area of over 540000 square meters. The college is known as a green campus, with three seasons of fragrant flowers and four seasons of evergreen. The education and teaching facilities are complete, with 56 multimedia classrooms, 17 speech rooms, over 180 experimental and training venues, and 9 training bases. Among them, the "CNC Engineering Training Center" is a "provincial-level experimental teaching demonstration center", with teaching instruments and equipment worth over 96.5288 million yuan. Xi'an Medical College is a higher education institution in the field of medicine

Xi'an University of Engineering was developed from the Northwest Textile Engineering College established in 1978, and its predecessor was the Weaving Department established by Beijing Higher Industrial Specialized School in 1912. Northwest Textile University is affiliated with the former Ministry of Textile Industry and is one of the three major universities directly under the Ministry of Textile Industry (East China Textile University, Tianjin Textile University, and Northwest Textile University). After 95 years of development, the school has now become an ordinary higher education institution with a focus on industry, characteristics of textile and clothing, coordinated development of multiple disciplines, and strong educational strength. Liberal arts college is a provincial ordinary undergraduate college characterized by teacher education and multidisciplinary disciplines such as literature, history, philosophy, science, engineering, management, law, education and economics. Its predecessor was Baoji University (undergraduate) founded in 1958. It was suspended in 1963 due to national economic difficulties. On this basis, Baoji Branch of Shaanxi Normal University was founded in 1975. In 1978, it was approved by the State Council as Baoji Normal University. In 1992, it was approved by the former State Education Commission and merged with the newly established Baoji University in 1984, renamed Baoji liberal arts college. The college is located in Baoji City, the hometown of Emperor Yan, the birthplace of Zhou and Qin culture, and the second largest industrial city in Shaanxi Province. It is located in Baoji National High tech Industrial Development Zone, adjacent to Qinling Mountains in the south and Weihe River in the north. It is close to mountains and rivers, and has a pleasant environment, covering an area of 1100 mu.

Ankang College is a provincial-level, multidisciplinary, full-time undergraduate institution. The predecessor of the college was Ankang University, founded in 1958, which was suspended in 1963 due to national economic difficulties. In 1978, the "Ankang Specialized College of Shaanxi Normal University" was re established, and in 1984, it was renamed as "Ankang Normal College" with the approval of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government. In 2004, the original Ankang Education College and Shaanxi Ankang Agricultural School were merged into Ankang Normal College. In February 2006, they were approved by the Ministry of Education to be upgraded to undergraduate colleges.
