Site Description: Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is located on the south bank of Qiantang River in Hangzhou, a famous historical and cultural city, across the river from the national scenic spot "Six Harmonies Pagoda". The predecessor of the school was Zhejiang Province Traditional Chinese Medicine Continuing Education School, founded in July 1953. In June 1959, Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was officially established, located on the former site of Zhejiang University on Qingchun Street, Hangzhou City. In March 2000, the school was relocated to its current location as a whole. In February 2006, it was renamed Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
