Site Description: Shandong Agricultural University is located at the foot of the magnificent Mount Taishan Mountain. Its predecessor is Shandong Higher Agricultural School, which was founded in Jinan in 1906. After several changes, Shandong Agricultural College was established in 1952 after nationwide departmental adjustments. In 1958, it moved from Jinan to Tai'an and was renamed Shandong Agricultural University in 1983. In July 1999, with the approval of the People's Government of Shandong Province, Shandong Agricultural University and Shandong Water Conservancy College were merged, while Shandong Forestry School was merged to form the new Shandong Agricultural University. At present, the school has developed into a multidisciplinary university with advantages in agricultural science, characterized by life sciences, integrating agriculture, science, engineering, management, economics, literature, law, medicine, and education.
