Site Description: Huainan Vocational and Technical College is a higher vocational and technical college sponsored by Huainan Mining Group, approved by the People's Government of Anhui Province, and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is formed by the former Huainan Mining Bureau Staff University, Huainan Mining Bureau Staff Medical University, Huainan Mining Bureau Party School, Huainan Coal Sports School, and Huainan Mining Bureau Senior Technical School. In June 1999, the Vocational and Technical College of Huainan Institute of Technology was established in a joint venture with Huainan Institute of Technology (now Anhui University of Technology). On June 18, 2000, in accordance with the approval of Anhui Provincial People's Government's Document No. [2000] 117, Huainan Vocational and Technical College was officially established as an independent school. It is a pilot unit for large enterprise groups to run vocational colleges, which is a key focus of the Anhui Provincial Department of Education.
