Site Description: Guangxi Normal University is a full-time undergraduate institution in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, formerly known as Guangxi Teachers' Continuing Education College, founded in October 1953. In December 1978, with the approval of the State Council, it became a full-time regular undergraduate normal university in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In January 2003, with the approval of the People's Government of the Autonomous Region, the former Guangxi Nanning Ethnic Normal School, founded in 1905 and with a century long history of teacher education, was merged into Guangxi Normal University.
