Site Description: Changjiang Engineering Vocational and Technical College is a public ordinary higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Hubei Province and registered by the Ministry of Education. The predecessor of the college was Yangtze River Engineering University, founded in 1959, with a history of 50 years. Before 2004, it was under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Water Resources. In June 2004, in accordance with the spirit of the State Council (Guo Ban Fa [2000] No. 11) document, the college was transferred from the Ministry of Water Resources to Hubei Province for management and is one of the 25 universities directly under the Hubei Provincial People's Government.
