  • Hetao University Homepage

    Hetao University is located in the fertile hinterland of the Hetao Plain in Bayannur City. It is a comprehensive university approved by the People's Government of the Autonomous Region and registered with the Ministry of Education in 1985. The former Vice President of the country, Ulanfu, inscribed the name of the university. Since 1993, it has been continuously announced by the Ministry of Education as a regular university with qualifications for academic education enrollment. In 2000 and 2004, the school underwent two integrations and merged the original Bamu Education College, Bamu Normal School, Bamu Radio and Television University, Bamu Finance School, Bamu Health School, Bamu Agriculture and Animal Husbandry School, and Linhe Water School into Hetao University.     Inner Mongolia University of Technology is located in the northern border of China - Hohhot City, the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Its predecessor was the Suiyuan Provincial Senior Industrial School, which was founded in 1951. It was the first school established in Suiyuan Province after the founding of the People's Republic of China to cultivate specialized talents, and Yang Zhilin, the President of Suiyuan Provincial Government, also served as the President. In 1958, Inner Mongolia Institute of Technology was established with the support of Tsinghua University. It was previously under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Machinery Industry and the Ministry of Agricultural Machinery. It was transferred to Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 1983 and renamed Inner Mongolia University of Technology in 1993. The school currently operates on four campuses, namely the main campus, Jinchuan campus, Mining College, and Engineering Technology Specialized College, covering an area of 3235 acres.

    Inner Mongolia Normal University was established in 1952 and is the earliest higher normal university established by the Party and the state in border ethnic minority areas after the founding of the People's Republic of China.   • Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology

    Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology is located in Baotou, one of the first batch of civilized cities and beautiful grassland steel cities in China. It was founded in 1956 and was originally known as Baotou Iron and Steel Industrial School and Baotou Construction Engineering School. In 1958, the two schools merged to form Baotou Institute of Technology. In 1960, it was renamed Baotou Iron and Steel College, under the former Ministry of Metallurgical Industry. In 1998, it was under the management of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and became a higher education institution jointly built by the central and local governments. In 2000, the Inner Mongolia coal industry School was incorporated and renamed as Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology in 2003.

    Tongliao Vocational College is a full-time comprehensive higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and registered by the Ministry of Education in April 2004. It was merged and established on the basis of the original Tongliao Education College (including Tongliao Normal School), Tongliao Branch of Inner Mongolia Radio and Television University, and Tongliao Health School. The college focuses on providing higher vocational education, retaining the original functions of secondary vocational education and distance education at TVU, while also undertaking vocational skills training for society and continuing education training for junior high school teachers. It is the reemployment training base for laid-off workers in Tongliao City, the transfer training base for farmers and herdsmen in Tongliao City, the vocational skills training base for 10000 people in Tongliao City, the continuing education training base for vocational college teachers in Tongliao City, the eastern sports vocational skills training base in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the "National March 8th Red Flag Collective", and the "Civilized Unit Model" in Tongliao City.

    Inner Mongolia University, located in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, was founded in 1957. It is the first comprehensive university established in minority areas after the founding of New China. It has four campuses, covering an area of 1.71 million square meters. In 1978, it was established as a national key university, and in 1997, it was listed as one of the 100 key universities under the national "211 Project". In 2004, it became a jointly built school by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Ministry of Education. The first president was concurrently held by Wu Lanfu, then the Vice Premier of the State Council and the President of the Autonomous Region. Li Jidong, a member of the academic department of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a famous biologist and professor of Peking University, came to the university to teach and served as the vice president at the beginning of its establishment. The former president is Xu Rigan, vice president and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The current principal is the Vice Chairman of the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

The college is located in the Xueyuan East Road College Park, Xixia District, Yinchuan City, covering an area of 346 acres. It has convenient transportation, beautiful environment, and complete teaching and living facilities. In addition to conducting full-time education, the college also has four brands: China University of Political Science and Law Ningxia Correspondence Teaching Station, China National Lawyer Correspondence Teaching Center Ningxia Counseling Station, Ningxia Judge Training College, and Ningxia Judicial Cadre Training Center.     Xinhua College of Ningxia University was established in March 2002 and is one of the first independent colleges confirmed by the Ministry of Education. It is a full-time undergraduate regular higher education institution organized by Ningxia University in accordance with the new system and model. In December 2007, the Education Department of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Ningxia University jointly established Xinhua College.
