CME Bitcoin futures, the BTC flagship contract, closed at $62,940.00 on Friday in New York, down 0.36% from Thursday's close, but still up 5.01% for the week. The contract traded within a range of $57,550.00 to $64,200.00. Simultaneously, spot Bitcoin traded at $63,135.60, representing a 5.44% increase over the past seven calendar days, with a trading range of $57,505.81 to $64,114.38.
CME Ether futures, the DCR flagship contract, showed strength, closing at $2,548.00, up 3.22% from Thursday and up 4.94% for the week. The contract traded within a range of $2,253.50 to $2,579.00.
