Among them, the number of individuals holding over $1 million in Bitcoin assets has witnessed a 103% increase, reaching 85,400. The report further highlights that the number of individuals with over $100 million in cryptocurrency assets has climbed to 325, with billionaires reaching 28, marking a 6-person increase from the previous year.
This significant growth is primarily attributed to the launch and rapid development of Bitcoin ETFs. Since their approval in January 2024, Bitcoin ETFs have amassed over $500 billion in assets, attracting a considerable influx of investors and fueling market enthusiasm.
