A large ETH whale has just transferred thousands of ETHs to another wallet. According to Lookonchain's data, a wallet that has been dormant since 2015 has transferred 8000ETH to another wallet. The wallet made one ETH transaction first, and after a few minutes, the remaining 7999 were transferred.
Based on the current ETH price of $1892, the value of these 8000 ETHs is about $15.14 million. However, investors holding ETH purchased a token at a price of approximately $0.31.
This means that the wallet paid $2480 for 8000ETH.
Since ETHICO in 2015, this is not the first time ETH wallets have awakened in the past few months. At the end of April, a wallet holding 2365 ETHs also made a similar move.
The ETH repurchased in 2015 was also worth $0.31. The investors paid a total of approximately $730 for 2365ETH.
