Harbin Railway Vocational and Technical College is located in the beautiful ice city of Harbin, and is a full-time regular higher education institution. Formerly known as Harbin Railway Engineering School, which was founded in 1959, it was a national key vocational school. In 2002, it was promoted to a vocational college. It was jointly built by the Education Department of Heilongjiang Province and China Railway Third Engineering Group Co., Ltd. It is under the jurisdiction of China Railway Engineering Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, and is the only vocational college under the headquarters. It is one of the key construction units of 10 demonstration higher vocational colleges in Heilongjiang Province, and is the "Urban Facility Talent Training Center" for revitalizing the old industrial base in Northeast China in Heilongjiang Province.

Daqing Vocational College is a public higher vocational and technical college approved by the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province, registered by the Ministry of Education, and included in the enrollment plan of ordinary higher education institutions. It is one of the ten key demonstration vocational colleges constructed in Heilongjiang Province.

Heilongjiang Judicial Police Officer Vocational College is a full-time political and legal regular higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province and registered by the Ministry of Education. The college mainly cultivates police officers for the judicial administration system, as well as other higher vocational talents in legal services, economic management, computer applications, and other fields for society. The college undertakes the training task of serving judicial administrative police officers and Communist Youth League cadres throughout the province.

Heilongjiang Forestry Vocational and Technical College is the first forestry vocational and technical college in China, approved by the Heilongjiang Provincial Government, registered by the Ministry of Education, and established independently by the state. It is located in the city of Mudanjiang, the largest lava barrier lake in China, by the beautiful Jingpo Lake in the north. The college covers an area of 50 million square meters, including a campus area of 600000 square meters, a building area of 130000 square meters, a collection of 305000 books, a total value of 20.36 million yuan in teaching equipment, and a total value of 120 million yuan in fixed assets. The campus construction layout is orderly, with lush green grass and an elegant environment, earning it the reputation of "the first park in Danjiang". The college has been successively rated as the municipal advanced party organization, the advanced collective of education and scientific research and the provincial civilized unit pacesetter, the "garden type unit", the "exemplary organization of three education", the "famous and excellent college trusted by Longjiang", the "school of confidence and satisfaction preferred by Heilongjiang students and parents", and the "national exemplary organization of vocational education" and other honorary titles.

Heilongjiang agricultural engineering Vocational College was founded in 1949 and was promoted to higher vocational college in 2001. In 2002, it was designated as a demonstration vocational and technical college with key support from the central government; In 2003, it was designated by the Ministry of Agriculture as one of the first batch of "capacity building pilot colleges" and "rural surplus labor transfer training bases"; In 2004, it was designated by the Ministry of Education and other relevant departments as two training bases for skilled and scarce talents in the fields of CNC technology and automotive application and maintenance. In August 2007, the college was designated as a national demonstration vocational college by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance.

Harbin Financial College is located in the beautiful ice city of Harbin, founded in 1950. Its predecessor was the People's Bank of China Qiqihar Cadre School, Heilongjiang Bank School, and Harbin Financial College. She is the first financial vocational college approved by the State Council to be established in China. In April 1992, with the approval of the National Education Commission, it was renamed as Harbin Financial College. The school was originally under the headquarters of the People's Bank of China. After the reform of the national higher education management system in 2000, it was jointly built by the central and local governments, with local management as the main focus.

There is a distinctive and influential higher vocational and technical college, Heilongjiang Tourism Vocational and Technical College, located on Xuefu Road, where there are numerous universities in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. This college is the only public tourism higher vocational college registered by the Ministry of Education in Heilongjiang Province. Its predecessor was the Heilongjiang Tourism School, which has a history of over 40 years. Throughout its decades of academic development, the college has always adhered to the educational philosophy of "people-oriented, talent oriented, student-centered, quality oriented, employment oriented, and brand driven". With the core of cultivating students' professional abilities, the college has been building "high-quality majors, courses, and talents" to achieve the "three zero distances", namely zero distance between professional settings and market demand, zero distance between talent cultivation and employment positions Continuously exploring and practicing zero distance between training standards and enterprise employment standards, a distinctive mode of education and management has been formed.

Heilongjiang Information Technology Vocational College is a formal regular higher education institution approved by the Heilongjiang Provincial Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is under the jurisdiction of the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Information Industry and is the only public full-time higher education institution in our province that cultivates specialized information technology talents.

Harbin University of Science and Technology (Hust) is located in Harbin, a city with beautiful scenery and known as the "Ice City" of northern China. It is a multi-disciplinary university characterized by mechanical and electrical disciplines and coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as science, engineering, economics, management, literature, and law. It is the largest science and engineering university in Heilongjiang Province. Wang Daheng, a famous scientist and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Engineering, is now the honorary president of Harbin University of Technology.

Harbin Normal University is a comprehensive teaching and research university with a long history of education. It is the cradle of teacher education, art, and basic subject talent cultivation in Heilongjiang Province. It is an important research base for education, art, humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences in Heilongjiang Province, and is a key university under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Province.

The predecessor of Jilin Jiaotong Vocational and Technical College was Jilin Jiaotong School, founded in 1958. In 1998, Jilin Jiaotong School merged with Jilin Jiaotong Workers' University to establish Jilin Jiaotong Vocational and Technical College. It is the first independent vocational and technical college in Jilin Province and also one of the earliest independent vocational and technical colleges established in China. In 2000, the affiliation was transferred from the Jilin Provincial Department of Transportation to the Jilin Provincial Department of Education. In 2001, it was rated by the Ministry of Education as one of the 31 demonstrative vocational and technical colleges in China. In 2005, it was awarded the honorary title of "exemplary organization of Provincial Vocational Education" by the provincial government. In 2006, it passed the talent training level assessment of higher vocational colleges with excellent grades. In 2007, it was approved as a key demonstrative higher vocational college in Jilin Province.
