According to the announcement of Binance on April 18 of the cryptocurrency exchange, it has launched the main online security chain and is expected to implement the conversion of its native token BinanceCoin (BNB) on April 23.
Coin An first announced the launch of its own blockchain in December 2018 to serve the new cryptocurrency and initial coin issuance.
According to the announcement, Coin An said that it has started to produce consensus blocks today, and its original token BNB is planned to be issued at Genesis Block.
The announcement states that Coin Chain Explorer and online wallets will be provided to selected partners in a beta version, and are expected to be open to the public around April 23, 2019.
With the launch of Coin Chain, the exchange has provided detailed information on converting ERC-20BNB tokens into native Coin Chain's BNB (BEP2). Therefore, Coin An emphasized that it will not support the withdrawal of ERC-20BNB tokens after April 23rd.
Specifically, Coin An will release more BEP2 coins as more users convert their ERC-20BNB to native BEP2BNB, while ERC20BNB will be destroyed to 'maintain the total supply of both networks unchanged'.
