The stable currency is called 'BinanceGBP' and will be 100% linked to the pound sterling. Zhou Wei revealed that Coin An also plans to launch a series of stable currencies supported by other currencies, but has no plans to launch stable currencies supported by the US dollar.
He stated that once the stable currency being tested is launched, Coin An will disclose the cooperating banks to the public. Like Tether, Coin An will also profit from the statutory deposit interest.
